Christopher Simpson places 3rd in the Masters Mile at the Reebok Boston Indoor Games and follows that up with a win in the masters 1000M at the USATF Championships in NM.

The Eliot Track Club was created so that athletes could experience what Boston running is all about. Good friends that run hard together and meet for a laugh and a good time after. That is what the Eliot Lounge was all about.

In that tradition the Eliot TC took to the track for our inaugural season in 2009. Early results included top performances by a number of athletes at stalwart New England indoor meets ranging from the Boston Indoor Games sponsored by Reebok to the venerable BU Terrier Classic. In these meets the team competed and represented well and then made sure to make time to enjoy the effort with friends.

But late in the season Christopher Simpson gave us something to really celebrate. He traveled to Albuquerque New Mexico to represent the club on the big stage that is the USATF national championships and came home with the gold medal in the Masters 1000m.
